1957-1989: Deputy S-G/ Memeber of the Executive Committee/ Director of External Relations/ President of the Cultural Translation Council of the Vietnam Writers' Association

Gave talks on Indian poet Kalidasa on the 1500th birth anniversary of the poet in June 1956; translated Kalidasa's Meghdoot; translated poems by Rabindranath Tagore; has met Indian poets such as Sajjad Zaheer and Subhas Mukhopadhyaya who visited Vietnam : translated some of their works.
